Detail about our services

We Provide High Quality Facilities

Although pulmonary medicine only began to evolve as a medical specialty in the 1950s.

One of the first major discoveries relevant to the field of pulmonology was the discovery of pulmonary circulation. Originally, it was thought that blood reaching the right side of the heart passed through small ‘pores’ in the septum into the left side to be oxygenated, as theorized by Galen; however, the discovery of pulmonary circulation disproves this theory.

COMPUTERISED PATIENT REGISTRATION UNDER ABDM

A computerized registration system streamlines patient data entry and medical records management. It enhances efficiency by automating administrative tasks, reducing waiting times, and ensuring accurate patient information tracking.

CENTRAL LAB Chest Radiology (CR System & DR System)

Our hospital’s radiography facilities offer imaging services, X-rays for accurate diagnostic evaluation. The biochemistry lab provides a full range of tests to analyze blood, urine, and other bodily fluids, ensuring comprehensive clinical support for patient care.

Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy (Adult & Paediatrics)

Our hospital offers advanced fiberoptic bronchoscopy, allowing for precise visualization of the airways and lungs using a flexible scope with a light and camera. This procedure helps in diagnosing and treating various pulmonary conditions with minimal invasiveness.

Thoracoscopy

Our hospital offers advanced thoracoscopy services, allowing for minimally invasive examination of the pleural cavity using a specialized thoracoscope. This procedure is crucial for diagnosing and treating pleural diseases with precision and minimal discomfort to the patient.

Pleural fluid aspiration

Our hospital provides pleurocentesis services, a minimally invasive procedure used to remove excess fluid from the pleural space around the lungs. This service is essential for diagnosing and relieving symptoms related to pleural effusion, improving patient comfort and respiratory function.

Icd insertions

Our hospital provides ICD (Intercostal Drainage Catheter) insertion services for patients requiring drainage of air, blood, or fluid from the pleural space. This procedure is essential for managing conditions like pneumothorax, pleural effusion, or hemothorax, ensuring effective respiratory function and patient stabilization.

Multi level Ultrasound

Our hospital offers USG chest services, utilizing high-resolution ultrasound imaging to assess the pleural space, lungs, and surrounding structures. This non-invasive procedure aids in the diagnosis and management of conditions like pleural effusion and chest wall abnormalities, ensuring precise and effective care.

ECG (Electro Cardio Gram)

Our hospital offers comprehensive ECG (Electrocardiogram) services to monitor and evaluate heart rhythms and electrical activity. This non-invasive test is essential for diagnosing conditions like arrhythmias, heart attacks, and other cardiac abnormalities, ensuring timely and accurate treatment.

Polysomnography

Our hospital provides polysomnography services, a comprehensive sleep study used to diagnose sleep disorders like sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless legs syndrome. This overnight test monitors various body functions, including brain activity, breathing patterns, heart rate, and oxygen levels, ensuring precise diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related conditions.

Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)

Our hospital offers Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) services to assess lung capacity, airflow, and respiratory efficiency. This non-invasive test is essential for diagnosing and monitoring lung conditions such as asthma, COPD, and restrictive lung diseases, ensuring accurate treatment and management.

Sputum Microscopy

Our hospital provides sputum microscopy services to diagnose respiratory infections such as tuberculosis and pneumonia by examining sputum samples under a microscope. This reliable diagnostic tool helps in detecting the presence of bacteria or fungi in the lungs, ensuring timely and accurate treatment.

Mantoux Test

The Mantoux test is a diagnostic tool used to detect tuberculosis (TB) infection. It involves injecting a small amount of tuberculin into the skin and checking for a reaction, such as swelling or redness, after 48-72 hours, indicating a possible TB infection.

Integrated Counselling And Testing Centre (ICTC)

Our hospital’s ICTC (Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre) lab provides confidential HIV testing and counseling services. It plays a crucial role in early detection, prevention, and management of HIV, offering support and guidance to patients throughout the process.

Haematology

Our hospital’s hematology lab offers comprehensive testing services to analyze blood components, including red and white blood cells, platelets, and hemoglobin levels. These tests are crucial for diagnosing conditions such as anemia, infections, clotting disorders, and leukemia, ensuring timely and accurate treatment.

IRL LAB

Our hospital’s IRL (Intermediate Reference Laboratory) lab provides advanced diagnostic services for tuberculosis, including culture and drug susceptibility testing. It plays a key role in TB diagnosis, monitoring treatment effectiveness, and detecting drug-resistant strains, ensuring comprehensive care.

SEMINAR HALL

Our seminar hall is fully air-conditioned, equipped with a high-quality projector, and can comfortably accommodate around 80 students. It provides an ideal environment for academic sessions, conferences, and workshops.

Computerised modular workstations of administrative block

Our administration section is fully computerized, enabling efficient management of hospital operations, including patient records, billing, and scheduling. This system ensures streamlined workflows, accuracy in data handling, and enhanced service delivery.

Patient cantered care with the latest treatment modalities and a scientific approach on par with global standards and effectively contributing to ongoing clinical researches in the field of Pulmonology.
